I got a tip that our favorite Town Manager, Bill DeLibero, is a finalist for the job of Town Manger in Charlestown. Seems odd to me, that he wants out of Hopkinton so badly. However, considering the Scuncio/Mauti lawsuit (more details to follow), I guess I am not surprised. Anyone have any more info on this or is it just an unsubstantiated rumor? FYI, my source is generally pretty reliable. I guess we’ll have to wait and see how this shakes out. My source also says that the official announcement of the finalists is scheduled for May 6th-ish.
Aside from Mageau, I never paid any attention to Charlestown, I didn’t even realize they were without an Town Manger. I suspect that without one, their Town has never run more smoothly….

if we should be so lucky and charlestown takes him….then hopkinton cant scream for tax equalizaton anymore since the savings of them taking him from us will far outweigh any tax equalization savings

Wow William DiLibero hm trying to get away from Hopkinton & HPD as fast as his two lil’ feet will take him. Didn’t he try to escape to Westerly ahh but that fell through . Westerly was wise to old DiLibero after all with him at the helm in Hopkinton their Capt Lauren Matarese went along with yes Old Police Chief Scuncio and did a false arrest on former bldg inspector Charlie Mauti out of revenge . Ultimately costing Westerly $100,000 !
Now he’s prowling around in old Charlestown !!

Well what are the lawsuits here in Hopkinton going to cost us ?? Due to DiLibero’s actions. He , Scuncio , Baruti, ++++++ others sued + tax payers pay,pay,pay ! Thanks DiLibero burying us alive !

Well actually DiLibero’s relative has been ringing that bell stating he told them he’s one of the 5 finalist?? I believe that cat wasn’t suppose to come out of the bag until May 6th as Ishmael pointed out.
